Job Description:
As a Junior Accountant at Coinut, you will play a critical role in our back-office operations, specializing in daily reconciliation, settlements, and bookkeeping within the dynamic world of cryptocurrencies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily reconciliation of cryptocurrency transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards and industry regulations.
• Handle the settlement of cryptocurrency transactions, following IFRS guidelines, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with the back-office team to reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of cryptocurrency transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and trades, while adhering to IFRS guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and regulatory reports specific to cryptocurrency operations, following IFRS principles.
• Execute day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording cryptocurrency transactions and managing accounts, in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Provide support to senior accountants and finance managers in various cryptocurrency accounting and financial tasks.
• Stay updated with cryptocurrency regulations and IFRS standards to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• CPA designation is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the cryptocurrency industry.
• Strong familiarity with IFRS standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with cryptocurrency accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Good to have:

• Working experience working in an audit firm or FinTech company.
• Knowledge of blockchain or cryptocurrency
• Experienced in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
• Familiar with the audit process
