How to Delete My Coinut Account?

Follow the steps below to close your account permanently.

1. Login to your Coinut Account.

2. Tap the My Account Icon on the bottom part of the page.

3. Scroll all the way down and tap the ‘Delete Account’ button.

4. Click "Yes" when prompted to confirm the deletion of your Coinut account.

5. If you have remaining balances in your Coinut account, you will receive this notification on the Coinut App.

6. We will send you periodic reminders via email containing specific instructions regarding any remaining balances in your Coinut account.

For verification purposes, you will receive an email from Coinut requesting the following information to confirm the deletion:

• Registered Email
• Registered Phone Number
• A selfie with a government-issued ID, a piece of paper with your signature, Coinut account username, and date.
• Reason for deleting the account

Once verified by Coinut staff, your Coinut account will be deleted.

Will my personal data be retained when my account is deleted?

While your Coinut account can be deleted as requested, please be informed that in compliance with regulations outlined in the Payment Service Act, and as required by applicable laws such as Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Laws, Coinut is legally obliged to retain certain sets of your personal data for a period of time. Your data will be retained solely for recordkeeping purposes and will not be used for any other purposes, per the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Once the mandatory period stipulated under the applicable laws expires, your personal data will be deleted.
