How to open a business account?

In order to open a business account with us, you must complete the below steps:-

Step 1: Sign up for an account for business use on Coinut. Please take note that it is irreversible once the account has been switched to a business account, it will not be able to use as a personal account anymore. 

Step 2: Verify the corporate representative's account here: https://coinut.com/onboarding

Step 3: Please send the documents stated below to [e-mail] for verification

Step 4: Complete the online form and submit the required documentation

Private Limited Company: 

• Business Profile (ACRA) 
• Constitution / Memorandum of Association & Articles of Association
• Identification documents (NRIC/Passport) of all the directors
• Selfie ID for all the directors
• Proof of Address Document if the submitted ID is not NRIC
• Proof of Business Address Document (If it's different from ACRA) 
• Source of Funds or Source of Wealth (can be a recent corporate bank statement dated within three months)
• Directors’ Resolution to approve the opening of the corporate account and the appointment of a corporate representative to act on behalf of the company. We can provide a template. 
• Letter of appointment by the Company to appoint the corporate representative. We can provide a template. 

Partnership

• Business Profile (ACRA) 
• Partnership Agreement
• Identification documents (NRIC/Passport) of all the partners
• Selfie ID for all the partners
• Proof of Address Document if the submitted ID is not NRIC
• Proof of Business Address Document (If it's different from ACRA) 
• Source of Funds or Source of Wealth (can be a recent corporate bank statement dated within three months)
• Letter of appointment by the Company to appoint the authorized person. We can provide a template. 

Sole Proprietorship

• Business Profile (ACRA) 
• Identification documents (NRIC/Passport) 
• Proof of Address Document if the submitted ID is not NRIC
• Proof of Business Address Document (If it's different from ACRA) 
• Source of Funds or Source of Wealth (can be a recent corporate/personal bank statement dated within three months)

Additional supporting documents other than stated above may be required upon reviewing the application. 

It takes 2-7 working days to verify a business account.
