Market Order
Market orders are the easiest way of trading. The orders will be filled immediately based on the current market rate. However, you may not get the price that you have expected by trading with market orders.
Example (SGD/BTC)
BUY
If you would like to buy Bitcoin (BTC) with Singapore Dollars (SGD), you would be buying from the sellers (Look at the order book on the top in red color).
Your orders would be filled immediately at the current market rate, which is SGD24,681.19 in this example. It also depends on how many BTC you would want to buy. If you want to buy 1 BTC, the orders will be filled based on the market rate from down to top until you have gotten 1 BTC.
SELL
If you would like to sell Bitcoin (BTC) to Singapore Dollars (SGD), you would be selling to the buyers (Look at the order book below in green color).
Your orders would be filled immediately at the current market rate, which is SGD24,587.21 in this example. It also depends on how many BTC you would want to sell. If you want to sell 1 BTC, the orders will be filled based on the market rate from top to down until you have gotten 1 BTC.
